Build
The main structure is built with durable glass and stainless steel. Handle is made of plastic (wish it was metal). Just to make things clear, this kettle is made in China, not in Switzerland, but the quality and design looks and feels great. The blue led lights embedded in the base of the kettle is a cool feature!.
Easy to use
I bought this kettle because I thought it was a fair price and liked the design. It was easy to set up and I was surprised by how much I liked the purple/blue glow. I previously had a kettle that was all metal and you couldn’t see the water. It is so nice to be able to see the water when I want just a slight boil. I cleaned out the kettle with dish soap before I used it and did not notice any unusual taste with the water. It takes up minimal space in my kitchen and looks sleek on my counter when not in use.
Boil fast
For this price range, this kettle is a game changer. The kettle is quick and heats up 4-5 cups of tea in a couple of minutes. The blue LEDs add a nice aesthetic to the metal finish and the glass casing is durable and well designed. The only predicament I have observed is that the nozzle to pour doesn’t have enough curvature and occasionally the water drips off the side of the cup.

you get what you pay for
When I read other reviews and read through the information on this, I thought it was a good price and would be a good product. It heats up with similar speeds to other electric kettles I have had. the blue light is a fun feature, but that is all, doesn’t do much more than just let you know when it is heating up.
I wish I had thought of the following things before I purchased this:
– it is glass- so it gets hot, and it also loses heat very quickly, so unless I drink all the water quickly, I have to heat it up again within 15-20 minutes. A double insulated electric kettle maintains the temperature for MUCH longer.
– the opening on the top is not removable, so it makes it more difficult to get inside and clean it (not as much of an issue with stainless steel because even if there are mineral deposits you won’t see the inside of a double insulated water kettle)
-the push button on the top doesn’t seem to open easily when there is hot water inside- so if it has cooled a little bit due to it being made of glass, it is hard to add more water to the kettle.
-the lip on mine is not fastened well to the container, and there is a leak from the lip to the bottom, so everytime I pour there is a small puddle at the bottom of the kettle.
I am going to try to return it and purchase a double insulated with a removable top.
