This kettle feels like and is a quality product. Quickly boils water and then shuts itself off. The LED lights showing it is heating up are a helpful feature not to mention makes a nice light show on the kitchen counter. Being able to lift the kettle off the base to pour eliminates a dangling cord to deal with. The kettle easily fits back on its base. The design is ergonomic visually and functionally. The glass has a quality feel to it. Mueller is a German brand and the overall quality of the product is hard to beat. Find details in Mueller Premium 1500W electric kettle with speedboil reviews.
Pros & Cons – Mueller Premium 1500W electric kettle with speedboil
Pros:
– simplicity. this kettle doesn’t have little nooks & crannies that require precise cleaning – this is an especially great feature for others that deal with hard water build up
– glass not metal
– love the little blue light (nothing that’s esp spectacular or useful, just a cool little feature)
– auto-off feature. there’s a little on/off switch on the handle that flicks off when the water is done boiling. so far, it’s worked every time. I will note, though, if you’re impatient and happen to pick up the kettle before the switch flips on it’s own, you do need to flip it down to shut it off, otherwise it stays in the “on” position when put back on the pad
Cons:
– glass not metal (might be an issue if you’re careless, move frequently, or have children)
– doesn’t have any fancy settings, just boils water

Build and design
Made with the finest quality Borosilicate Glass, which lasts a lifetime, 304 stainless steel and heat resistant copolyester for the safest, freshest water. A premium long lasting lid that stays shut when it’s supposed to for years to come, unlike the majority of the others on the market.
LED indicator
The LED light highlights the boiling water through the clear glass and the heating element design means the water seems to get pushed through the bottom holes upwards in a cycling motion. Every cup of tea comes with a little show.
Noise
This water boiler looks very cool and having the glass is nice to see the water level clearly and keep it clean. It’s also very quiet, and seems to pour much smoother than other kettles I’ve had (less splashing). The kettle is pretty wide, which makes it very stable
Boil water fast
I bought this kettle because I wanted something that would fit in a small area on my counter and heat water quickly without too much fuss. This is perfect. It heats to a full boil faster than my on-stove kettle ever did, has an auto shut-off so I never need to worry about it heating a dry kettle or over boiling, and it’s literally a “one-button” operation.
Cleaning
This kettle is very beautiful and works really well. The reason for 3 stars is the fact that it is very difficult to open. The top has a soft touch button which is definitely not soft touch. U have to try a few times before getting it open. There are times you have to repeatedly do it before it opens up. This is quite annoying. Another thing I didn’t like about it is the fact that its very difficult to clean. I have had it for a little over a month and it stains easily and I can’t really get my hands into it to give it a good scrub. If u are using it only to heat water it might be okay, but brewing tea is definitely going to stain it.

I love this electric kettle!
I’ve been using this kettle at least once a day. I use to get water from from my wife’s Keurig machine to make tea or instant coffee, but the Keurig just doesn’t make water hot enough. This kettle brings water to a rolling boiling quickly and looks cool doing it! In fact, it heats up so quickly that I often use it as a “short cut” when I need to boil a pot of water to make pasta or something. I just boil it, then pour it in the pot on the stove.
The design is nice and seems like a very high quality product. My ONLY gripe is the lid. I wish it opened further. When you push the button on the lid, the lid pops open to approximately 45 degrees. I fill the kettle using a Brita pitcher and that opening is a bit small without getting water down the side of the kettle. However, the lid can be opened further by pulling it by hand. It opens to about 80 degrees, which provides a nice big opening. I do this EVERY time I fill it. My concern is that it makes a popping sound when you first pull it by hand.
So, I’m not sure if that will have a negative impact on the life of the lid. I’m guess that there’s a little plastic nub that stops the lid at that 45 degree mark… so, I’m thinking (or hoping!) the worst case is that the nub will eventually wear off, then the lid will just open all the way when the button is pressed (which is really what I want anyway). But, I didn’t really inspect it, so I don’t know for sure.
