I recently got rid of my coffee machine and switched to tea. I’ve been using a regular kettle for the stove which works great- but when I saw this at my friend’s house I had immediate envy and had to buy it immediately. Since drinking tea more regularly I taken to getting higher quality tea and have noticed a difference in the taste of the tea when seeped at different temperatures- not to mention I have an extremely sensitive tongue so if my regular kettle boils for too long I can’t drink my tea because it’s too hot. Anyway- back to this amazing kettle. It has different settings for different types of tea so all you do is press that button and in about 3 minutes you’ve got your water at the precise temperature recommended for the type of tea you are making. There is also a coffee setting so if I need to do a pour over I’ve got the perfect temp!
Another feature I swooned over at my friend’s was the automatic shutoff. I have serious ADHD which means that I am constantly forgetting to do things or getting distracted in the middle of doing something. If this kettle didn’t have the automatic shut off, I’m sure my house would be burned to the ground already.
I definitely recommend this kettle and it will now be my go-to for house warming gifts because everyone needs this in their life
